New accounts- these are typically created between 2-4 weeks after closing. The title company will mail the closing information to Goodwin & Company to process and create a new account.
Owners should receive a Welcome Letter from Goodwin after the new account is created. This welcome letter will contain some account basics like assessments payments and your account number.
Delivery of the Welcome Letter to the new owner:
> Mailed to the mailing address provided by the title company
> Email- a courtesy copy of the Welcome Letter will also be emailed if the title company provides the new owner's email address.
Update Communication Preferences:
> We currently do not have a paperless communication option since the Texas Property Code requires certain notices to be mailed USPS first class or certified mail.
